The path of movement and change is constant.
You are always changing. The breath of life is always moving within
you. You are not the same person you were five years ago. You
have changed even in the last five minutes. Right? We’ve
all heard these ideas and their truth seems undeniable. It’s
really quite obvious that nature and the universe are in a constant
state of movement and change, and we are a part of it all, yes?
Why is it, then, that our experience is often one of repeating
patterns? Patterns of thinking, moving, eating, talking, relating
with others that really appear unchanging. Sometimes, to our frustration
and disappointment, even our best attempts to change our lives
don’t always work. If change and movement are the constant
rhythm of the universe, why can it be so darn difficult to change
aspects of our selves, behaviors that no longer serve us? How
can we be out of sync with the rhythm of life?
