Eco-Renovation in Druid Hills

My family moved in to this house during December of 2003, planning to renovate. A few things happened that affected the project. We had difficulty selling our other house, and while we were planning the renovation, a huge tree hit the house and crushed the back corner, doing significant damage to the roof and driveway.

Self-Sufficient Retreat in Max Patch

In Max Patch in the most western and uninhabited reaches of Madison County, NC is a 200 acre forest traversed by bears, mountain lions, and bobcats. Development of this property has been based in permaculture concepts.

Soul Kitchen

Flower Fare
Many cultures all over the world use flowers in their cuisine. As Americans, we need to take time to not only stop and smell the flowers, but to ingest them as well. It is one of the simple joys that adds quality to life. We know that wild greens are a wonderful way to cleanse the body, giving it a fresh start in spring.
