The Economics of an Ecological Design
By Kevin Ward
When planning to build a new home or restore an old one, the potential costs of “green” building can be daunting. Alternative building materials such as certified sustainable lumber and natural insulations can be harder to get and are typically more expensive than conventional building materials purchased at your local building material warehouse.(free)

When Less is More

Building smaller can be an appropriate housing solution. By current housing standards, 2,200 square feet is considered small, but its possible to build a comfortable home that is 1,200 or even 500 square feet, depending on your household needs. (free)

Sustainable Structures
Sustainable construction involves assessment that includes considering the environmental, economic, and social aspects of the built environment. Factors that need to be addressed are energy efficiency, material selection, construction waste reduction, indoor air quality and the general health and well being of the occupants, to name a few.(free)
Aromatherapy for Your Home
By Gabriel Mojay
Aromatherapy is the systematic use of essential oils to maintain and promote physical and psychological well-being. It was identified as a form of complementary medicine in the 1920s. Yet the roots of Aromatherapy are ancient and form part of the fragrance traditions and classical systems of medicine of many world cultures.
