Chinese
Medicine and Autism
By Cissy Majebe
The treatment of Autism
with Chinese Medicine (CM) first began to interest me
in 1993 when a parent brought a three-year-old, non-verbal
child into the clinic. I acquired a special interest
in the treatment of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum
Disorders from working with this child.(free)

| Vaccinations:
Searching for Middle Ground
By Patrick Hanaway
Each year millions
of parents go to doctors’ offices wondering
if their decisions to vaccinate their children are
right. This confusion over the past ten years has
been heightened by the increasing polarity of pro-vaccination
and anti-vaccination views. It appears that the fear
of adverse effects from vaccination is matched only
by the fear of infectious diseases from not vaccinating.
There appears to be no middle ground. (free)

| Kuzu
Power
By John Belleme
Roots are
the focal points of a plant¹s energy. That is
why roots have always occupied a special place in
man¹s diet, as well as in his medicine chest.
Popular roots such as ginseng, dock, radish, beets,
and carrots are prized for their concentrated food
value and healing power. Kuzu (Pueraria
lobata) root (also spelled kudzu), one of the world¹s
largest vegetable roots, is considered big medicine
in Japan and China.(free)

| Squatty-Training
our Children
By Jonathan Isbit
Twenty-one
days without seeing a Back
when you were an infant you knew instinctively how
to answer the call of nature. While still in diapers,
you used the squatting position, the method human
beings have always used—and still do in most
parts of the world. (free)
